Why I built Subfoxy

One evening, going through my credit card statement, I found a $14.99 charge for a streaming service I hadn't opened in eight months. Then another one — a "free trial" I'd forgotten to cancel back in March. That night I counted them all: I was quietly paying for eleven subscriptions, and actively using five.

I looked for a tool to fix this. Every app I tried wanted the same thing first: my bank login. Full access to my accounts, handed to a third party, just to see a list of my own subscriptions. That felt completely backwards.

So I built Subfoxy — a subscription tracker that works the way privacy should: you enter your subscriptions manually in a couple of minutes, and Subfoxy does the rest. Renewal reminders before you're charged. Free trial alerts before they convert. A clear picture of exactly where your money goes every month.

"No bank connection. No selling your data. No dark patterns when you want to cancel. Your subscription fee is our only revenue — you're the customer, never the product."

Subfoxy is a small, independent product, and I like it that way. Every support email comes to a real person, and every feature we ship exists because a user asked for it.

If Subfoxy saves you even one forgotten charge, it's done its job.
